MAIN TEXT:
“A
woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the
Lord your God detests anyone who does this”, (Deuteronomy 22:5).
WRITER’S QUOTE:
Good
moral foundation is a must for peaceful and prosperous society.
INTRODUCTION:
Rochas
Foundation College is a lofty and commendable vision of the present governor of
Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, established for the empowerment of the
Nigerian Youths, especially the less-privileged ones. However, this unique
secondary education institution, according to some concerned observers, is
gradually becoming a citadel of moral recklessness and carefree attitude,
pointing to the fact of transvestism, which the proprietor and management of
the school have allowed to flourish without recourse to its biblical and social
implications.
Governor
Rochas Anayo Okorocha, the proprietor of the school, is said to be a Christian
of the catholic extraction, and supposed to have known from the Bible and his
church that transvestism is an abomination before God and against the practice
of the catholic church, which he claims to be a member, and that by not keeping
to the tenets of the Bible and his church drags the reputation of God and the
church to the mud, which also is the common features of the vast majority of
the members of the catholic church who only keep to biblical dress-code during
church services.
By
way of definition, Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia states that transavestism
(also called transvestitism) is the practice of cross-dressing which is wearing
clothing traditionally associated with the opposite sex or gender, and the word
transvestite refers to a person who cross-dresses. In the words of Eddy Elmer
(1992:1), transvestism is medically defined as a psychosexual mental illness,
“the essential feature (of which) is recurrent and persistent cross-dressing by
a heterosexual male”… Elmer further remarks that, for the most part,
transvestites are sexually aroused by clothing of the opposite sex and/or the
wearing of such clothing” and from the aforestated, it may be implied that some
sort of spiritual, cum mental disorder now exist at Rochas Foundation College,
which requires the urgent attention of both the clergy and psycho-therapists.
Having said this, now observe that;
GOD HATES AND CAUTIONS AGAINST TRANSVESTISM
From
the Holy Scripture, precisely from the book of Deuteronomy chapter twenty-two
verse five, one ascertains that, “a women must not wear men’s clothing, nor a
man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this”,
and, where the basic principle(s) of socialization is in operation, the older
generation should guide the younger ones into good behaviour. It is on this
note, therefore, that God’s word urges us to “train up a child in the way he
should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverb 22:6).
Here, the writer wishes to state that the apparent transvestism at Rochas
Foundation College shows that the proprietor and staff of the college carry no
good moral profile, and so, are incapable of giving the children sound moral
training.
Today,
the students of Rochas Foundation College who have been deceived into the
unholy attitude of transvestism have hitherto been translated into mobile abomination
before the omnipresence God, as they now roam the streets of Owerri and beyond
as tranavestites, whereby provoking Him to anger, as well as inciting students
in other private and public schools who may be vulnerable to such a destructive
tendency. And, if adequate measures are not taken, the damage will soon be
uncontrollably devastating.
But,
why should such a wicked flood come from the foundation of a Christian governor
who should have been a moral light to the people, as some well-meaning citizens
of the state have by this ugly trend at Rochas Foundation College been forced
to ask, if the governor’s free education is really designed to empower or
destroy?
Let
it be noted, also, as Magnus Hirscfeld remarks in Wikipedia, the free
encyclopedia that sexual arousal was/(is) often associated with transvestism.
In more recent terminology, this is sometimes called “autogynephilia”. Hirscfeld
also clearly distinguished between transvestism as an expression of a person’s
“contra-sexual” (transgender) feelings and fetishistic behaviour, even if the
later involved wearing clothes of the other sex”.
In
line with the foregoing, the management of Rochas Foundation College, is by
this called upon to be mindful of the extra-curricular training which tranvestism
plays-up in the lives of the students of the college, and take urgent steps to
check it, since it is now obvious that transvestism trigger-off sexual
immorality, which God equally hates, unless Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo
State, who is the proprietor of the school wants the people to believe that
that may be one of the reasons behind his endorsement of the controversial “Abortion
Law in the State,
GOD WILL REQUIRE THE ACCOUNT OF EVERY CHILD TRAINED AT
ROCHAS FOUNDATION COLLEGE FROM THE PROPRIETOR AND MANAGEMENT OF THE SCHOOL.
Everyone
must give account of their stewardship to God, but trainers or teachers have
greater accountability. Nowadays, certain educationists and proprietors of
schools treat the training assignment given to them by God with levity. Some go
all out to submit the work to the whim and caprice of the devil, since it is
now common knowledge that most owners of schools have established them in
agreement with Satan, to serve as places where the unsuspecting students and
teachers are initiated into cultism and other fraternities of the kingdom of
darkness. By this, the writer has not pointed accusing finger at Rochas
Foundation College or at the owner and management of the school, but has just
made a general observation, as this may be the foremost reason why immorality
is cherished in such institutions, since it is a means of stealing, killing and
destroying souls for the devil, (John 10:10).
In
this connection, Ben Onyeukwu (2010:23) gives a piece of advice as to what
should inform the choice of school for the training of the child. Here, he
re-echoes that, “man is the product of his environment”, pointing out that a
place where a child is trained is of vital importance, in terms of what the
child becomes in future, as he vividly states that; “institutions with a staff
team of low moral disposition will have nothing to offer the child morally, as
well as submits that in looking for a school where a child should be trained,
the religious persuasion of the principal leader(s) and staff of the institution,
which includes whether they are members of any secret cult or society or not,
must be ascertained if the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the child really mean(s)
well for the child, as they will definitely give account of any misguided
child.
But,
as it concerns this piece, the proprietor and management of Rochas Foundation
College, for institutionalizing transverstism in the school are now in the eye
of divine judgments, unless the quickly retrace their unholy steps, as they
must surely give accounts of their training stewardship in that school to God.
And, let it be stated here that, it is the highest height of insult on the
person of the Almighty to mislead any soul made in His image and likeness,
(Genesis 1:26). Therefore, every proprietor and manager of schools, Christian
and non-Christian, should learn how to strictly adhere to God’s principles of
holiness and righteousness. This is where Rochas Foundation College has woefully
failed, God and society, the free education, notwithstanding. For what does it
profit anyone, if our children are trained free of charge, where our girls are
turned into “street harlots” and our boys “casino guys”, who would eventually
end up in hell, (Revelation 21:8).
GOD WILL EQUALLY REQUIRE FROM PARENTS AND GUARDIANS THE
BLOOD OF THEIR WARDS WHO THEY ALLOWED IN THE UNHOLY WAVE OF TRANSVESTISM AT
ROCHAS FOUNDATION COLLEGE
Blame
it on poverty, and the writer will blame it on doubt, fear and unbelief, which
are the three major obstacles of faith. For, no one who believes God for the
training of their wards that will not be given the opportunity from above. Let
us not push so far on the matter of faith, for Rochas Foundation College may be
one of God’s opportunities for the recipients of the institution’s free
education. In fact, the proprietor of the school has done well, in terms of
free education for the less-privileged persons, apart from the fact of the
moral problems cited in this piece, which now try to destroy the good work that
the visionary leader of Imo State has done since recent past, and here the
writer hopes that this write-up would be a means of correction, as well as
prays that God gives other governors of the Nigeria federation, the grace to
toe the path of the free education programme of the charismatic governor of Imo
State, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha.
However,
as the writer’s prayer ranged, a voice interrupted within, and said, “Who impoverished
the masses that most of them are no longer capable of paying their children’s
school fees?” And, the writer answered, “political leaders and their crones”,
and who, the voice continued, can give them un-hindered help? And the writer,
as well replied, “the God of Heaven”. As the interaction persisted, the message
came, “tell the people that no political leader can’t really help them, but God
can”. Tell them also that political leaders are in the deadly habit of “steal
and give”. They only give the insignificant part of what the have stolen from
the people. And, then, the writer was finally forced to ask, “is the Governor of
Imo State, who he has just praised also in the habit?” And, the answer
immediately came, “how did every one of them make the money or wealth for their
purported helps? Also, what was the brain behind the so called help? The
sincere answers to the above questions will readily reveal if our political
leaders are saints or sinners. Once again, blame the inability of anyone to
train their children on poverty, and the writer will still blame it on doubt,
fear and unbelief which are already identified as three major obstacles of
faith, that hinder people from receiving help from God, and the fourth obstacle
have now been identified as political leaders who steal and mis-manage the
common wealth of the people.
Don’t
forget so fast that we are still on Rochas Foundation College and Transvestism,
and the fact that this part of the piece hinges on the message that, “God will
require from parents and guardians the blood of their wards who they have
allowed in the unholy wave of transvestism at the school”. Does this mean that
the writer now canvasses for the exodus of students from Rochas Foundation College?
Certainly, this is not the idea. The simple target of the writer in this
session of the work is to move parents and guardians to prevail on the
proprietor and management of the college, to say no to transvestism and other
forms of immoral behaviour in the school, as a way of obeying God’s word in
Deuteronomy 22 verse 5, and elsewhere in the Bible, as this would save the
school from total collapse.
In
conclusion, let it be rehearsed here that Rochas Foundation College is not
alone in the immoral sea of transvestism. A lot of people and institutions,
great and small are in it, probably without the knowledge that it is a great
and punishable sin before the Lord God, who made the heavens and the earth,
(Deuteronomy 22:5). And, the focus on the school under review is because of its
crucial role in society. Rochas Foundation College is an institution involved
in the training of the youths, and youths are the strength and future leaders
of the people, and should be jealously guided. Therefore, the primary target of
this article on the matter of transvestism are the youths, generally, and not
just those at Rochas Foundation College, and to the generality of the people,
please note once again that transvestism remains an abomination before the Lord
God of the whole universe. PLEASE
REPENT!
